The Mission of Jesus

An extract from the Constitutions of the Sisters of Compassion:

God sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, on a Mission:

to reveal to us the Father's love

to redeem us by His passion, death and resurrection,

and thus draw us to Himself in love

to send the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Love

to establish the Church.
