Archives

Vision

To preserve the spirit and memory of Suzanne Aubert, and the tradition of the Sisters of Compassion.

Mission

To foster appreciation of the history of our Congregation.

The Archives are open during the week from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.  It is important to make an appointment beforehand so that there will be someone available to attend.  It would be appreciated if researchers gave some indication of their interest: nursing, child welfare, etc.

The Sisters of Compassion Archives contain Memorabilia relating to Suzanne Aubert – Mother Mary Joseph Aubert.  These are on display as well as photographs of the works done by the Sisters since the foundation of the Congregation in 1892.  For a good description of what we are holding in the Archives use the following link to the National Register of Archives and Manuscripts (NRAM).
