MCLaSSThe sound of singing, chatter and laughter can be heard every monring drifting fromteh former Art Compass space upstairs in the Compassion Centre. Multi Cultural Learning and Support Sevices (MCLaSS), is a non-profit group that offers free adult education and job support for refugees and migrants whose first language is not English. MCLaSS runs morning English language classes in the upstairs space at Compassion Centre and brings a welcome vibrancy to the Centre during the day. In the afternoon the space is available for other users, which recently included Catholic Social Services who are offering adult cooking classes. "We are blessed with a wonderful facility at Compassion Centre" says Manager, Desmon Dang "and we are delighted to be able to make it available to other agencies working in the community".
