Retreat

For those needing time out

Included in the facilities available at Island Bay's Home of Compassion are fifteen bedrooms to be used by people who need time out from stressful situations or alternatively would like to make a retreat.

This part of the home is in two areas.  Each has its own kitchen and dining room facilities.  They can be used by an individual in need of a break or they can be booked by a group wanting to organise a retreat.

These facilities are expected to be available by March next year. 

Also available for Retreat Days and workshops is the Community Centre.

It can accommodate 50 or more people and has both a dining room and a kitchen area.
