The Year of the Priest
To celebrate the Year of the Priest the Sisters of Compassion invited the priests of the archdiocese
to spend a day at the Home of Compassion. The Sisters wanted to thank the priests for their support and to show appreciation for their help and ready assistance whenever it was needed.

On the 24 November about 45 priests spent the day at the Home, so as to enable them to be together and to enjoy each others’ company. During the day they had the opportunity to reflect on their priesthood and on the life of their patron saint, St. John Mary Vianney.
