My Day

Eighteen months ago when I turned eighty six my Driving License ran out and I decided not to renew it. Since then I have been quite busy.

My programme is like this:

Each Monday I garden in the morning with Alan helping out for an hour or so. On Tuesday’s, same thing only Matthew comes to help in the garden. In the afternoon if anyone offers to take me, I travel to Masterton and look up some of the families there.

It is back to school for me on Wednesday and Thursday mornings to help with Reading recovery at St. Mary’s school. In the afternoons I visit the elderly in their own homes.

If baking is required I do it when I can on Friday and I also cook that days dinner.

On Saturdays I do odd jobs etc. and whatever comes up. On a Sunday, my time is taken up with Mass and anything that comes up. I’m not tied down to anything except the school.
