Festival-goers at CubaDupa in Pōneke got a taste of Compassion Soup Kitchen’s mahi at Te Aro Eats, the community kai collective serving meals and treats for koha during the two-day festival in March.
Scott and Sam from the Soup Kitchen were on the frontline, dishing up fresh gazpacho alongside volunteers and kaimahi from Seeds to Feeds, Everybody Eats, The Free Store, Wellington Timebank, and Kaibosh Food Rescue.
Compassion Soup Kitchen was proud to be part of the community dining experience on Dixon Street, where Te Aro Eats invites Wellingtonians to share kai, connect with others, and pay what they can for a meal. Sam and Scott’s chilled gazpacho added to the diverse line-up of delicious offerings.
