School Group Visits
Our Education team offers a range of short activities, take-home resources, and day-long retreats for school groups from Year 1 to Year 13.
School visits take place between 10am-2.30pm on weekdays during term times.
There is no charge to visit the Heritage Centre and Chapel, or for a Compassion-hosted retreat. A koha toward the mahi of Compassion Whānau is appreciated.
Please ask for school pricing for venue hire if you hold your own retreat.

Accommodation is available for overnight retreats, and catering options are available.
Our Lady’s Home of Compassion is a 10-minute drive from Wellington’s CBD and the airport. The no. 1 Island Bay bus is a 5-minute walk.
We have ample free car parking onsite.
Our facilities are accessible to visitors with mobility needs. Please contact us for specific requirements.
